In other words, women from all over the world have been rebellious to reach the status they have today . While the western countries are still making progress .

Third world countries like India still lack behind in women empowerment.

In India women empowerment is needed more than ever. India is almost the countries which are not safe for women. There are are various reason for this.

Firstly , women in India are in dangerous of honour killing . Their families think its right to take their lives if they bring shame to the reputation of their legacy.

5. How to Empower Women :-

There are various ways in how one can empower women. The individual and government must both come together to make it happen.

Education for girls must be made compulsory so that women can become illiterate to make a life for themselves .

Women must be given equal opportunity in every field , irrespective of gender. Moreover, they must also be given equal pay. We can empower women by abolishing child marriage .

Various programs must be held where they can be taught skill to fend for themselves in case they face financial crisis .

Accordingly, empowerment is central to the processes of maintaining the benefits of women at an individual , household , community and borders levels .

It involves the action of boosting the status of women through literacy , education , training and raising awareness (Alvarez and Lopez) hence , women’s empowerment is all about allowing and equipping women to make life determining choice across different issue in the country.

We all know the ratio of girls is less as compare to boys in our country, India. And it is to do the orthodox mentality of society who wants to have boys and not girls .

In true sense, patriarchy has decided the course of woman’s life throughout ages .

It provides legal protection for women.
It also provides them with a safe working empowerment .
Women cannot enjoy security and protection in life it they are not empowered .
Women need to be provided equal opportunities for work to produce a just and progressive society .
